This Winter Athletic Season, our Titans made their mark across the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA). With over 150 student-athletes competing across 14 winter teams, the energy, school spirit and level of performance were nothing short of spectacular. Our teams outplayed the competition, solidifying our reputation as a true athletic powerhouse and consistently earning top standings across the association.

Our Senior Boys Basketball DIII team had an extraordinary season, finishing undefeated with a 7–0 record. With dynamic offensive play, a strong defensive structure and exceptional team cohesion, they established themselves as a dominant force in the league. For the first time ever, the team also competed at the CAIS National Tournament, facing some of the top programs in the country and demonstrating remarkable skill, experience and composure on the court. After finishing first overall in their CISAA league, the Titans earned the right to host LCS, RLC and TCS for the CISAA Championship Final Four Tournament and they delivered once again, claiming the CISAA Championship banner and gold medals.

Matching that success, our U14 Coed Curling team had a fun and successful season, attending multiple bonspiels to sharpen their skills prior to the CISAA Championships.  Our Grade 7 team came out dominant, winning both of their games and securing the CISAA Championship plaque.

New to our winter sports offerings this year, our U14 Coed Futsal team made an immediate impact, starting strong with a 2nd-place finish at the Appleby College Blue Dog Invitational Tournament. They went on to finish 3rd overall in the regular season, earning a spot in the Final Four Tournament. In the semifinals, they faced DLS — a team that had beaten us twice during the regular season — and managed to tie the game with just 10 seconds remaining, forcing overtime and ultimately a thrilling penalty shootout, which they won 7–6. In the finals, the Titans gave a strong performance, earning 2nd place.

The rest of our teams advanced to their respective playoffs, competing in quarterfinal and semifinal matchups. Their teamwork, perseverance and unwavering Titan spirit were on full display, and we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication and effort throughout the season.

Winter Athletic Awards
On Monday, March 2nd, we hosted the Winter Seasonal Athletic Awards at the Upper School, celebrating our teams, athletes, and coaches for their hard work, outstanding performances, Titan spirit, commitment, and grit throughout the season. Each coach selected one MVP and one Titan Award recipient per team, and all honourees received a trophy in recognition of their achievements.

Award Descriptors:
The Titan Award recognizes a player that is extremely coachable and an excellent team player. They demonstrate exemplary attitude, commitment and perseverance.

The MVP Award recognizes the most valuable player for each team. They demonstrate outstanding physical performance and are highly competent and consistent when executing sport-specific and fitness skills in competitive events.
