Piano Lessons
In a world where the touch of a button or finger swipe brings an immediate response, piano lessons help your child to develop a healthy work ethic and an understanding of the idea of delayed gratification.
Piano Lessons
Mastering even the simplest piece of music requires focus and patience. In a world where the touch of a button or finger swipe brings an immediate response, piano lessons help your child to develop a healthy work ethic and an understanding of the idea of delayed gratification. Learning to play the piano promotes cognitive skills such as memory development, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills.
The Lauremont School piano program aims to encourage an ‘I can do it’ feeling and build self-esteem. Monthly performance classes provide a platform where students can share their talents and enjoy a social connection with other musicians, and develop presentation skills.
The curriculum is drawn from a variety of source materials from classical to jazz/popular, depending upon where the student gravitates to. Students wanting to follow the path towards mastering classical music must have an acoustic piano in the home.

Dance
Our Dance Program is a wonderful journey into movement, gently guiding students through the foundational skills and beautiful expressions of contemporary hip-hop and jazz. It’s about discovering how these two vibrant styles can complement one another.
We explore the main elements of each dance form, creating a space where rhythm, self-expression, and body awareness naturally unfold. Through fun, thoughtful choreography, students connect with the music and learn how their bodies can tell a story. This exploration culminates in a proud performance where everyone shares what they’ve learned with grace.
To encourage growth, we use the special 5-Star TAC Development System. This system provides students with five helpful milestones—each with clear, kind guidelines—to reflect on their progress. It’s a tool for self-discovery, allowing each student to understand their own strengths and curiously pursue their next level of personal achievement in a supportive setting.

Art Genius: Exploring Creativity and Mastering Mediums
Step into Art Genius, a comprehensive, hands-on program where young artists thoughtfully explore a dynamic world of creativity through painting, sculpting and mixed-media design.
Students will gain experience with a sophisticated variety of artistic mediums, including rich acrylics, subtle watercolors and malleable clay, to create works across different styles: detailed portraits, beautiful landscapes, classic still life compositions and imaginative abstract pieces that reflect their distinctive vision.
From creation to presentation, every class emphasizes not just the act of making art, but the process of presenting it. Students will develop confidence and pride as they learn to curate their work, arrange visually engaging displays and articulate the meaning behind their creations with classmates. Through guided instruction and exciting technical challenges, students develop essential skills: a keen eye for detail, mastery of mediums and the powerful ability to express complex ideas through art.
