Extracurricular Programs at the Upper School

The Upper School offers a variety of extra-curricular programs for students in grades 7 to 9. In collaboration with The STEAM Project, these exclusive programs provide students with hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Held at The STEAM Project’s nearby makerspace on Edward Avenue, these programs offer a unique opportunity for students to explore their interests and develop essential skills. These programs aim to inspire a passion for learning beyond the classroom.

Battle Bots

In Battle Bots, students will engage in the exciting realm of robotics by designing and building their own battling vehicles.

Tiny Homes

In this program, students will delve into the world of architecture by learning how to draft and sketch floor plans.

Woodworking 101

This program will introduce students to the fundamentals of woodworking, including both hand and power tools.

Robotics Challenge

In this program, students will collaborate to design, build, code, and test a robot for participation in the FIRST Tech Challenge, a renowned robotics competition.
