Extended Care Program
Lauremont School offers our Extended Care program through the entire year for all our levels at the Lower School. Our program includes various activities including outdoor play, supervised homework sessions, storytime and arts and crafts, ensuring a balanced mix of recreation and learning.
Registration for our 2024-2025 Extended Care Program will open on Monday August 12th at 10:00 AM, and will close on Tuesday, August 20th at 4:00 PM.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I create a new account?
The registration system is open on August 8th, 2024 at 10:00 AM and closes on Friday, August 9th, 2024 at 12:00 noon for creating new accounts and for returning users to make sure they can log in. We suggest that you do this so when course registration opens, you will be ready to proceed.
I have an account with Discovery Day Camp. Can I use that account to log-in and register for Extended Care programs?
While we are using the same software as Discovery Day Camp, the Lauremont School Extended Care programs are separate so creating a new account will be required.
How do I register for a program?
Your classroom number is needed to set up and complete registration. If you have not received your class placement letter or have misplaced it, please call the school, and we will be happy to assist you.
Program registration is on a first come, first served basis. There are a limited number of students in each program. We require the minimum number of participants for a program to run. If this number is not reached, the program will be cancelled and a full refund will be given.

What is the deadline to enrol in the extracurricular program?
The deadline to enrol is August 20th, 2024. To complete registration, the online registration form must be submitted by 4:00 PM on August 20th, 2024. We regret that we are unable to process enrolment applications after August 20th, 2024.
I have started my registration but it will not allow me to proceed to pay. What’s happening?
This means there could be a form or a selection that has not been completed that is mandatory. Please go back and check Step 3 in the registration process and make sure the word ‘COMPLETED’ appears by each form (illustrated in the picture below):
I have tried to pay with my credit card but the website won’t accept it. What’s happening?
There are a couple of reasons this could be happening so please check the following:
1. Check the type of card you are using. Our merchant only accepts Visa or MasterCard.
2. Double check that you have entered your card number and expiry dates correctly.
3. Ensure that the credit card has not been issued from outside of North America.
Can I see what I have registered for?
Yes! You can log back into the registration site at any time and review your registration. Click here for a short video on locating a copy of registrations or a receipt for payment.

How will my child get to/from their class to extended care or the extracurricular activity they are registered for?
Your child’s homeroom teacher will ensure they are picked up from the before school program at 8:00 AM for Elementary students and 8:30 AM for Toddler and Children’s House students, and dropped off at the after school program at 4:00 PM.
Do you offer refunds on extracurricular program registrations?
Once a program has begun, we cannot refund or pro-rate any payment for any reason. The school reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule a session for operational reasons. There will not be any make-up sessions for cancellations due to any reason.
Lauremont School has the right to cancel or reschedule a program due to any school activities requiring the use of any facility. There will not be any make-up class(es) for school closures and program cancellations due to inclement weather.
What are the drop-off and pick-up procedures for the extended care program?
For morning drop off, parents should park and bring their children into their respective extended care room. Elementary parents may drop your children off at Kiss-N-Go if you feel comfortable doing so, and your child can enter on their own. Students must go directly to the extended care room.
Toddler, CH 1 and CH 2/3 students who have signed up for the before school program and arrive between 8:00-8:30 am should park and enter the building through the entrance that faces Bayview Avenue.
For afternoon pick-up, Parents should park and enter the school through the main doors at the Atrium. Please have your parent badge clearly visible for the front desk receptionist. Proceed to your child’s assigned extracurricular room for pick up.
