Robotic Arm
Design and build your own robotic arm—then put it to the test with customized challenges! From 3D designing mechanical parts to building electronic circuits, students will create a fully functional robot they can control to complete interactive tasks.
Tiny Homes
Unleash your creativity as the architect of your own dream tiny home! Students will learn how to create architectural scale models using 3D design software, circuit building, furniture design, 3D printing, and even fabric weaving.
Woodworking 101
New to Woodworking? Join us in a fun, exploration-based woodworking environment to safely learn hand and power tool techniques, build structures, and finish projects with precision.
Robotic Arm
Design and build your own robotic arm—then put it to the test with customized challenges! From 3D designing mechanical parts to building electronic circuits, students will create a fully functional robot they can control to complete interactive tasks.
This course introduces students to key maker skills, including digital design, mechanical engineering, and electronics. Students will explore 3D modelling to design and 3D print custom grippers and components for their robotic arm.
They will also learn about microcontrollers, servo motors, and circuits as they assemble and wire the electronics in their project. Through hands-on building and game-based challenges, students gain confidence in using tools like microcontrollers, screwdrivers, and 3D printers—all while discovering how mechanical and digital systems come together in real-world robotics.
Student Level: Grade 7 to 9
Start Date: September 24, 2025
End Date: November 26, 2025
Program Length: 10 weeks (1 hour per week)
Cost: $424 + HST
Time: 4:00-5:00 PM
Tiny Homes
Unleash your creativity as the architect of your own dream tiny home! Students will learn how to create architectural scale models using 3D design software, circuit building, furniture design, 3D printing, and even fabric weaving.
Students will learn how to create an architectural scale model using our Tiny Home kit, hand drafting, and 2D/3D design software.
Students will see their designs come to life through the entire design process, learning how to sketch and draft floor plans, and seeing how they relate to a full-scale building. They will also tackle interior design using 2D design software to finalize their floor plans and 3D design software to design custom furniture before 3D printing it and assembling the tiny homes of their dreams.
Student Level: Grade 7 to 9

FIRST Lego League (FLL)
Want to be a part of a global community of student inventors, programmers, and engineers? Join our FIRST Lego League Robotics Team!
The FIRST Lego League (FLL) is an international robotics competition. Teams work together to design, build, and program a LEGO robot to tackle themed challenges on a dynamic playing field. In addition to robotics, teams also research and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems- all while building teamwork, critical thinking, and creativity.
